The Juvenile Information Sharing(JIS) enables juvenile service providers to work together
in a coordinated approach guided by mutually identified goals,
shared access to information, and a collaborative treatment and service plan.
The ability to identify a juvenile in the system enables
providers to effectively comprehend the past history
of the child and family, including what has already been
tried and failed, or what needs to be advanced in the future.
More complete information could lead to more effective
and efficient planning for the child’s treatment.
